“I am an experienced family mediator based in Cheshire and I can offer in-person mediation meetings, or sessions can be held online.

I established EAG Family Mediation to support families and couples during the difficult time that follows the breakdown of a relationship. Every family’s situation is unique, so I can tailor the process to suit the individual circumstances.

My approach is a very personal one, focused on building trust and encouraging communication. I will look after every part of the process from beginning to end.

I am an Accredited Family Mediator, registered with the Family Mediation Council, and I am a member of the Family Mediators Association. I conduct all mediations in accordance with the FMC’s Code of Practice.

I believe that family mediation is the best first step for separating couples where communication has become difficult or broken down altogether. Mediation offers couples the opportunity to have a conversation in a structured and balanced way, with impartial guidance and support.

I have experience in conducting mediations to discuss arrangements for children following separation, the division of a couple’s finances, or a combination of both.

I feel particularly compelled to encourage mediation when children are involved and, where appropriate, I work closely with specialists in Child Inclusive Mediation to provide children with an opportunity to be listened to.

I have undertaken advanced training in adopting an integrated approach to mediation. This means that, where appropriate, I can invite other professionals such as financial advisers, solicitors and child consultants directly into the mediation sessions to support the separating couple.

My aim throughout is to aid communication and reduce conflict in a safe and supportive environment.

In such circumstances, the individuals themselves have the chance to make decisions about what is best for their future. Where this can be achieved, the experience is not only less stressful for everyone, but also much cheaper and quicker than the traditional legal process.”
